Please do not get this tattooed. We mean it kindly. A name we make is checked by machine, but it is still made by a machine, and a tattoo is for life. If you are going to do it anyway, show it to a Japanese speaker you trust first — not to us, and not to another AI. 彫らないでください。機械で検算はしていますが、作っているのは機械です。 それでも彫るなら、信頼できる日本語話者に必ず確認してもらってください。
Every kanji we hand you is looked up in a dictionary, and the combined reading is compared against your name. If it does not match, we do not show it to you. That is a real check and we stand behind it. お渡しする漢字は辞書で引き、読みを合わせて照合しています。合わなければお見せしません。
What that check cannot tell you is how a name lands on a real person: whether it reads as old-fashioned, whether it resembles someone's name, whether it carries a nuance we did not intend. Machines do not hear tone. A person does. 検算で見られるのは読みと字であって、その名前が人にどう響くかは見られません。
We promise that no two buyers ever receive the same mei. That promise is kept by a ledger: when someone buys, the mei is written down, and the record physically cannot hold it twice. 銘が重ならないことは購入者どうしの間で保証します。台帳に記録し、二重には登録できません。
A mei you generate for free is not reserved for you. We deliberately do not lock those. If we did, everyone who ever played with the generator would burn a name that a real buyer could have had. So: if you generate a mei, post it, and never buy anything, someone else may be given that mei later. Nothing has gone wrong if that happens — it is how the promise is scoped. 無料で出た銘は取り置きされません。遊んだ人の分まで押さえると、 実際に買う方が使える銘が減り続けるためです。無料で出た銘が後から他の方に渡ることがあります。
The names, epithets and phrases here are generated by AI models, then checked by our own machine rules. Two people can be given the same or a similar name. We do not treat what we generate as ours: use your name however you like — post it, print it, put it on something. We may generate the same one for someone else. 生成にはAIを使い、こちらの機械的な規則で検算しています。同じ名前が別の方に出ることもあります。 生成された名前は自由にお使いください。
What you type stays yours. We do not keep it — see how we handle your data. 入力された文章は保存しません。
We are still finding out whether people want this. The generator may change, break, or stop without notice, and it is offered as it is, with no warranty. If something we made caused you a loss, our responsibility is limited to what you paid us — which, for the free generator, is nothing. まだ試作の段階です。予告なく変更・停止することがあり、無保証で提供しています。
Nothing is on sale yet.
